Bounding Higher provides centre based ABA intervention for young children with autism.
Bounding Higher is a brand new autism centre offering naturalistic, play based, ABA programs. Your child will have the opportunity work on individual skills as well as group skills. Each child has a one on one helper (BI) that will teach and help guide your child.
All programs are currently centre based in Richmond, BC. We are set up for children up to age 6yrs.
Assessment: You child will receive a comprehensive assessment to examine their current skills by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and Registered Speech Language Pathologist. Based on this information, a formal plan of intervention will be developed catered to your individual child’s needs. You may also choose to add an Occupational Therapist to the team. You will receive a formal report and program set up so you can start your treatment program quickly.
Intervention: Your child will come to the centre on a regular basis at a scheduled time. Sessions will be conducted by Behaviour Interventionists (BI) under the guidance of a Behaviour Analysts. The BI and your child will work on skills throughout the session and data will be collected. During this time, children will have the chance to work on skills individually and with other children.
Areas of intervention can include: Social Skills, Language Skills, Cognitive Skills, Play skills, Fine and Gross Motor Skills, Personal Independence Skills, and Behaviour
